Daniel is a rockstar host -- that's what I must say first. The property that the carriage house is located within is FABULOUS, a beautiful property with lakes all around. My grandson and I experienced prompt attention to an air conditioning issue which was handled with the utmost care and expedient resolution. AC is a must in the south in July -- it's a must. Daniel took excellent care of us and I will absolutely book the Pike Road property again.

The two bunk beds are short and not suitable for adults or teens over the age of 15. Also the master bed is a loft that requires going up a third set of stairs. The entrance to the property requires going up two flights of stairs, so I would not recommend this property for anyone with mobility issues. Property had a washer, dryer, fridge, etc. Perfect getaway for a couple or family with younger kids.

The Carriage House is an adorable home located in a quaint and unique community, very much like Seaside, FL without the beach. The pools looked very inviting and the town of Pike Road is convenient. The bed was comfortable and the home is filled with many thoughtful touches. It sits just outside of Montgomery and the drive is not bad at all. This was a great get -away for my husband and myself to have "us" time. I would definitely stay again if we are given the opportunity!
Absolutely fantastic destination hosted by genteel and endlessly hospitable owners. This is real gem. A highly specced space, full of eclectic English artworks and exceptionally comfortable (thankfully American) furniture and fittings. The guest home was so conveniently located to Walmart, Target and downtown. The Lake is steps away from the guest home. We had access to the beach, hammocks, kayak and canoe. Need a getaway? The Carriage House is an amazing experience! After being on the road, we were looking for a quiet place to unwind. We were able to relax, even walk around and enjoy stunning lake views. Afterwards, we went back to the house and had a quiet evening playing games and enjoying one another’s company. The beds were amazingly comfortable and I was able to rest up and prepare for the next day. Daniel, is an amazing host! He was responsive to our needs and questions. No comfort was spared! If you are in town this is a great place to stay! Super quiet and charming neighborhood. Has great restaurants/cafes within the community or the house has everything you need on site to cook meals in the fully equipped kitchen. It was a pleasant surprise to drive around the neighborhood my kids loved that (mom and dad too ) and made trips to the park so easy! Great Lake views all around and tvs in every room. A very uniquely and wonderfully decorated apartment with an open loft and a private room with a bunk bed. We enjoyed the atmosphere and amazing neighborhood the property is located in. The little downtown has a great coffee shop (not open Sun) that has amazing blueberry muffins and coffee. It’s a quick jaunt to Tuskegee or Montgomery to take in the history of the area or a football game in Auburn. Enjoy your stay!

This place was the perfect stop-over during our trip to visit family in Florida. It was quiet, but yet tons to do in the area. The pool area was beautiful, we loved the coffee shop, and riding around to explore the area was wonderful. We would absolutely stay again in the future! We also recommend Locos Taqueria as a wonderful place to stop a few miles from the property. Our food was excellent and they also serve BBQ on Friday and Saturdays.

We’ve never had such a fantastic experience. The place was gorgeous. It’s small and very peaceful. The very place we needed to be to truly relax. But I have to mention Daniel again. We had a last minute stay and they put everything together quickly and accommodating, would definitely stay again!

If you are in town this is a great place to stay! Super quiet and charming neighborhood. Has great restaurants/cafes within the community or the house has everything you need on site to cook meals in the fully equipped kitchen. It was a pleasant surprise to drive around the neighborhood my kids loved that (mom and dad too ) and made trips to the park so easy! Great Lake views all around and tvs in every room. Really appreciated the newer/nicer/cleaner washer/dryer set on sight. We will definitely come back

If you need a place to stay near the Chapel at the Waters, we highly recommend The Carriage House. Cute, quaint, and excellent hosts! ( There are quiet a few stairs, so keep that in mind), but overall a wonderful choice if you need a rental in this area.

A very uniquely and wonderfully decorated apartment with an open loft and a private room with a bunk bed. We enjoyed the atmosphere and amazing neighborhood the property is located in. The little downtown has a great coffee shop (not open Sun) that has amazing blueberry muffins and coffee. It’s a quick jaunt to Tuskegee or Montgomery to take in the history of the area or a football game in Auburn. Enjoy your stay!

This place was the perfect stop-over during our trip to visit family in Florida. It was quiet, but yet tons to do in the area. The pool area was beautiful, we loved the coffee shop, and riding around to explore the area was wonderful. We would absolutely stay again in the future! We also recommend Locos Taqueria as a wonderful place to stop a few miles from the property. Our food was excellent and they also serve BBQ on Friday and Saturdays.

We’ve stayed at quite a few places. This was by far our favorite. Daniel was extremely proactive and checked in on us in the beginning, during and in the end. We’ve never had such a fantastic experience. The place was gorgeous. It’s small and very peaceful. The very place we needed to be to truly relax. But I have to mention Daniel again. I can’t say enough how much it meant to us that he cared about our stay and that we enjoyed it all. Very highly recommended as a host and as a place to stay. It was definitely somewhere we will never forget.

Daniel was an excellent host. This was our first Airbnb transaction. He made it very easy and was very reassuring through the app. We booked this unit for our adult children. We live in the neighborhood. It is a beautiful place and it is furnished very well. In fact, the unit had a Christmas tree which added a very festive vibe. Quite lovely and very conveient location. The Waters is agreat neighborhood and Daniel's place is a great introduction to the hidden gem which is The Waters.

Daniel is a rockstar host -- that's what I must say first. The property that the carriage house is located within is FABULOUS, a beautiful property with lakes all around. My grandson and I experienced prompt attention to an air conditioning issue which was handled with the utmost care and expedient resolution. AC is a must in the south in July -- it's a must. Daniel took excellent care of us and I will absolutely book the Pike Road property again.

Clean, quaint property. Luxurious feel to the room. All furnishings and amenities were great. In my opinion this room is suitable for two adults and two young children. The two bunk beds are short and not suitable for adults or teens over the age of 15. Also the master bed is a loft that requires going up a third set of stairs. The entrance to the property requires going up two flights of stairs, so I would not recommend this property for anyone with mobility issues. Property had a washer, dryer, fridge, etc. Perfect getaway for a couple or family with younger kids.

We used David's place as a bridal party house for a wedding, and it couldn't have been more perfect. Would HIGHLY recommend staying here for any events at The Waters. Great place for getting ready on the day of the wedding, and it was so great to be on-site for the weekend. Check-in was very simple, and David was communicative over the weekend.

The Carriage House is an adorable home located in a quaint and unique community, very much like Seaside, FL without the beach. The pools looked very inviting and the town of Pike Road is convenient. The bed was comfortable and the home is filled with many thoughtful touches. It sits just outside of Montgomery and the drive is not bad at all. This was a great get -away for my husband and myself to have "us" time. I would definitely stay again if we are given the opportunity!

A highly specced space, full of eclectic English artworks and exceptionally comfortable (thankfully American) furniture and fittings. It’s the ideal base from which to visit the Montgomery area, while enjoying the benefits of a private estate and utterly spectacular wildlife. Bring a camera and lots of memory cards!

My friends and I checked into Daniel’s Lake Front home at the last minute after a bad experience with 2 cancelled AIRBNBs. Daniel was kind, attentive, and called me right away to ask if there was anything we needed for the stay. Please note, this home away from home had everything. The guest home was so conveniently located to Walmart, Target and downtown. The Lake is steps away from the guest home. We had access to the beach, hammocks, kayak and canoe. Needless to say, we will be back! Daniel is truly a SUPERHOST!

What a fantastic property! We were looking for a kind of “staycation” to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and this was perfect. Absolutely spotless! Great amenities; the lake, kayaks, tennis courts, the pool, some Of the amenities were closed for the season, but there was still plenty to do both on property and right in the surrounding area. The property was beautifully decorated with tons of thoughtful touches. It is on the smaller side, so it would be great for a couple, or a small family stay, not for big gatherings. I can’t get over how well they utilized every inch of this space to give guests everything they might need, without it being cramped or cluttered. We will be back for sure! Need a getaway? The Carriage House is an amazing experience! After being on the road, we were looking for a quiet place to unwind. We were able to relax, even walk around and enjoy stunning lake views. Afterwards, we went back to the house and had a quiet evening playing games and enjoying one another’s company. This, is a 5/5 airbnb. Such a beautiful area and a very friendly community. I wish I could stay for ever. Hosts were extremely helpful, and thoughtfully outfitted their loft. Would recommend to any one, and will definitely be back.
You’ll want to stay here again and again. Swimming, fishing, kayaking, grilling, golf carting around, marshmallowing at the fire pit while admiring gorgeous sunsets and an endless starlit sky, and more. Danial is genuinely kind and treats you as his personal guest(s). A fun and relaxing end to our summer vacation!
Super cute cottage! The Waters is a lovely community with cool amenities such as opportunities to use kayaks and the pools. Plenty of safe walking for pedestrians. Plenty of lake-living scenery. A quaint coffee shop and general store is a short walk away. We enjoyed our stay immensely!
The Carriage House was absolutely amazing. The house made us feel at home. The place was spotless and supplied with everything we could need. Daniel was very responsive to any questions. We definitely would stay here again!

This was a beautiful escape. The location at the Waters is so beautiful with fun water activities right nearby. The house is so cute and they have thought of everything. It was spotless and decorated so cozy. The communication with the owner was so easy and check in was simple. I definitely recommend staying here. We will be back.
The Carriage House is such a quaint quiet place for a getaway. The scenery and neighborhood are beautiful. Pools were relaxing . The Carriage House has wonderful character, and it was so clean and comfortable. The stocked fridge and kitchen was certainly a nice touch! A relaxing retreat indeed. We hope to be back!

Great place for additional members of our group to sleep. We rented another house in the neighborhood - our sons got married in the chapel in the neighborhood.

A very peaceful break from our very busy life. The area is beautiful, the people are friendly and full of Southern hospitality. A lady even offered me fruit out of her freezer so I could make a smoothie! I highly recommend this spot for a getaway that’s not too far away.

My friends and I checked into Daniel’s Lake Front home at the last minute after a bad experience with 2 cancelled AIRBNBs. Daniel was kind, attentive, and called me right away to ask if there was anything we needed for the stay. Please note, this home away from home had everything. The guest home was so conveniently located to Walmart, Target and downtown. The Lake is steps away from the guest home. We had access to the beach, hammocks, kayak and canoe. Needless to say, we will be back! Daniel is truly a SUPERHOST!
Daniel was a great host. His carriage house is so special located in a resort with three lakes. The property was clean, extremely charming and comfortable. Daniel went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We hope to be back soon! A great time was had by all!
This is a great place to stay! It is in a beautiful location with lots of activities. They really take the bnb part of airbnb seriously with snacks when we stayed there. We have stayed at lots of airbnbs and this is in the very top tier.

What a fantastic property! We were looking for a kind of “staycation” to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and this was perfect. Absolutely spotless! Great amenities; the lake, kayaks, tennis courts, the pool, some Of the amenities were closed for the season, but there was still plenty to do both on property and right in the surrounding area. The property was beautifully decorated with tons of thoughtful touches. It is on the smaller side, so it would be great for a couple, or a small family stay, not for big gatherings. I can’t get over how well they utilized every inch of this space to give guests everything they might need, without it being cramped or cluttered. We will be back for sure! Great property/great hosts!!
Need a getaway? The Carriage House is an amazing experience! After being on the road, we were looking for a quiet place to unwind. We were able to relax, even walk around and enjoy stunning lake views. Afterwards, we went back to the house and had a quiet evening playing games and enjoying one another’s company. The beds were amazingly comfortable and I was able to rest up and prepare for the next day. Daniel, is an amazing host! He was responsive to our needs and questions. No comfort was spared! Please, do yourself a favor and stay at the Carriage House! You will thoroughly enjoy yourself!

This was the perfect vacation spot for our family, including 2 teenage boys who loved going to play basketball, tennis, swim, and kayak.
Extremely cozy. Extremely clean. Nicely decorated, adorable cottage. Amenities were a humongous perk! Pool, kayaks, life jackets, sandy beach. Hosts definitely earned their SUPERHOST badge! We had a last minute stay and they put everything together quickly and accommodating, would definitely stay again!
What a lovely place! The rental is well appointed and homey. Daniel was an absolute pleasure to meet and rent from.The neighborhood was so great to ride around and enjoy. We loved our time at the pool and in the kayaks. I hope to make this a regular trip. Perfect place to unwind.

If you are in town this is a great place to stay! Super quiet and charming neighborhood. Has great restaurants/cafes within the community or the house has everything you need on site to cook meals in the fully equipped kitchen. It was a pleasant surprise to drive around the neighborhood my kids loved that (mom and dad too ) and made trips to the park so easy! Great Lake views all around and tvs in every room. Really appreciated the newer/nicer/cleaner washer/dryer set on sight. We will definitely come back

If you need a place to stay near the Chapel at the Waters, we highly recommend The Carriage House. Cute, quaint, and excellent hosts! ( There are quiet a few stairs, so keep that in mind), but overall a wonderful choice if you need a rental in this area.

A little hidden gem in a resort community. The Carriage House feels like you are in New England until you step outside and feel the gorgeous weather. The amenities were amazing from the huge pool overlooking the lake, kayaks, basketball court, tennis courts

Beautiful home and neighborhood.
A very uniquely and wonderfully decorated apartment with an open loft and a private room with a bunk bed. We enjoyed the atmosphere and amazing neighborhood the property is located in. The little downtown has a great coffee shop (not open Sun) that has amazing blueberry muffins and coffee. It’s a quick jaunt to Tuskegee or Montgomery to take in the history of the area or a football game in Auburn. Enjoy your stay!

The Alabama Carriage Home was a beautiful well appointed space with great water views. Daniel was an extremely hospitable and responsive host who answered any questions about local cuisine, etc. I’d definitely recommend this space for future guests.

This place was the perfect stop-over during our trip to visit family in Florida. It was quiet, but yet tons to do in the area. The pool area was beautiful, we loved the coffee shop, and riding around to explore the area was wonderful. We would absolutely stay again in the future! We also recommend Locos Taqueria as a wonderful place to stop a few miles from the property. Our food was excellent and they also serve BBQ on Friday and Saturdays.

We’ve stayed at quite a few places. This was by far our favorite. Daniel was extremely proactive and checked in on us in the beginning, during and in the end. We’ve never had such a fantastic experience. The place was gorgeous. It’s small and very peaceful. The very place we needed to be to truly relax. But I have to mention Daniel again. I can’t say enough how much it meant to us that he cared about our stay and that we enjoyed it all. Very highly recommended as a host and as a place to stay. It was definitely somewhere we will never forget.

Daniel was an excellent host. This was our first Airbnb transaction. He made it very easy and was very reassuring through the app. We booked this unit for our adult children. We live in the neighborhood. It is a beautiful place and it is furnished very well. In fact, the unit had a Christmas tree which added a very festive vibe. Quite lovely and very conveient location. The Waters is agreat neighborhood and Daniel's place is a great introduction to the hidden gem which is The Waters.
